Spray Tan or Bed Tan?
Can’t decide between a sunless spray tan or a tanning bed? Fear not! Here’s a fun-filled comparison to help you make up your mind.
Spray Tanning

Bed Tanning

– Establishing a base tan in a tanning bed can take one week to a month, depending on factors like skin tone, bed intensity, and tanning frequency
– Bed tanning lamps utilize a combination of UVA and UVB light to naturally enhance your tan
– Operates on solar energy in a controlled setting to avoid overheating and burning
– All clients will tan between 3 and 5 minutes on their first visit, this is based on skin tone, level of tanning bed and staff recommendation
– Get faster results by using higher level beds, tanning 4-5 times per week and by using an Indoor tanning lotion to accelerate your color
– You can shower immediately after tanning, unless you used a bronzing lotion, in which case wait 2-3 hours before showering
– Once you develop a base tan, it can last up to 28 days if you use a daily extender lotion
– A base tan naturally protects you against a sunburn, however, you will still need to wear an SPF if out in the sun for long periods of time
